If you're travelling to Sri Lanka between December and April, you're visiting during the best season for the island's beautiful south and west coasts. ☀️🌴Warm sunshine, calm seas and ideal conditions make this the perfect time to enjoy the beaches around Hikkaduwa before setting off on an unforgettable journey through Sri Lanka's diverse landscapes.
This itinerary begins with four relaxing nights in Hikkaduwa, giving you time to recover from your flight, and settle into island life before exploring the rest of the country. From there, you'll head to Yala National Park in search of leopards, elephants and other wildlife, continue into the cool green hills of Ella and Nuwara Eliya, experience one of the world's most scenic train rides, discover the cultural heart of Kandy, and finish your adventure in Sigiriya, home to the iconic Lion Rock and fascinating ancient history.
