Wilpattu is known for its dense jungle, hidden lakes, and a more untouched, authentic feel compared to busier parks like Yala. Wilpattu is more forested, which means wildlife can be harder to spot. However that’s also what makes it so special.
This park is perfect if you’re genuinely interested in wildlife and prefer a more authentic experience.
